Cold wax is a very unique and exciting medium that allows me to work with multiple layers, light, texture and scratching. I was inspired by gazing upon many ponds and by camping and cottage canoe trips through the riverways created in lakes and ponds by the water lilies. I was captured by the way the sunlight played on the beautiful aquatic flowers.
