Every day, twice per day, over 160 billion tons of water (more than the combined outflow of every river on earth) flows in and out of the Bay of Fundy, creating tide heights which can be over 50 feet! As that incoming flow meets the outflowing water of the Shubenacadie River, water sloshes and roils and creates waves, like water sloshing in a bathtub. So it is in life, when we resist what is, there is upset, turmoil and suffering. To quote Star Trek, “resistance is futile.”
