Memories of many days spent traveling, watching boats bobbing in a Mediterranean sea sparkling with sunlight by day and reflecting lights and villages by night. Each boat has its own personality that reflects the owner. Whether in Greece or Italy, these have been some of my favourite days of travel.
In this impressionistic painting, I used layers, dabs of color and texture to direct the light in this sparkling Mediterranean harbor. I also worked a bit with compliments, using warm and cool colours.
