1762 Series – Spring

by Ted Coldwell

1762 is a series of four photographs depicting the decay of the Point Pleasant Battery in Point Pleasant Park, Halifax. The secretions of the concrete structure created the patterns that made me think of the root structures of trees. The complexity of the patterns reminded me of the seasons.

Media: Photograph printed on archival paper with Epson archival inks
Size: Various sizes available
Framed/Unframed: most sizes available in 3 options: unmounted/mounted/mounted and framed*

*Most sizes of this work are available with three mounting options: unmounted, mounted, or mounted and framed. An unmounted print is shipped in a rolled tube. A mounted print is mounted on a piece of PVC, which is then mounted on a second, larger piece of PVC, with 1/4 to 1/2 inch of space between the pieces of PVC to create a three-dimensional effect.
